Worksheets

Below are a series of worksheets for working with children (10 to 13 years) and young people (13 to 18 years).

The worksheets relate to three themes;

  • Identity and Belonging
  • Where we live
  • Finding a voice

Each theme is broken down into two parts, with each part lasting around
150 minutes.

Broadly, all of these worksheets are structured in the following way:

  • Introduction and warm-up
  • Practical activity
  • Exploration of theme
  • A creative activity
  • Sharing understanding
  • Conclusions

Positively Me! & The River of Life

Theme: Identity and Belonging
Aims: Looking at your position in the world. Reaching a better understanding of oneself and each other.
Objective: Team building and understanding peer pressure.

The Community Washing Line

Theme: Where we live
Aims: To encourage participants to think about community in terms of their neighbourhoods.
Objective: Capturing what is good about their communities and thinking about what they don't like and would like to see changed or made better.

Who's Listening?

Theme: Finding a Voice
Aims: Exploring the nature of listening and communication. Feeling confident in your own world.
Objective: How you can make a difference.

Using the worksheets

There are different ways to use these worksheets. Ideally you will get a chance to work through each of the three worksheets.

Each worksheet is split into two parts to make them more flexible. They have also been devised for two different age groups.

Once you have decided which worksheets you wish to use you can click on the link and download the PDF's.


PDF files

All the worksheets are produced as PDF's. Portable Document Format files are a convenient way to distribute documents.

Please click on 'download PDF' to open the worksheet resource. From there you can print any copies you require.

Development of worksheets

Creative Art Works have developed the worksheets specifically for Imagineering Fife. They are only to be reproduced in the context of education and community development.
